No, Treasure In A Jar does not test on animals. We are a cruelty-free brand and are committed to creating products that are kind to both the skin and the environment.

Yes, Treasure In A Jar offer products that can help with acne-prone skin. Our acne prevention products contain ingredients such as  tea tree oil that can help to reduce inflammation and prevent breakouts. However, we do advise that you sample a small area on your skin. 

Epsom Salt is an excellent exfoliator when used as a body scrub in the shower or bath.
It gets rid of dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and smooth. It’s best to use a body scrub two to three times per week to keep your skin soft and smooth. To add to your skincare routine, simply:

1. Use lukewarm water; allow it to run for 5-10 minutes to soften the skin. Baths or showers are great for this!
2. Pause running water or step out of your shower stream and apply the scrub in circular motions; start at your feet and move upwards towards your heart to enhance circulation.
3. Maintain gentle pressure (don’t scrub too hard or you can damage your skin!)
4. Rinse thoroughly
5. Apply your favorite Treasure in a Jar Whipped Shea Butter while your skin is still slightly damp. 

Shelf life is up to one year.

 East African Shea (Nilotica Shea) butter helps balance moisture and supports healthy skin elasticity. Hydrating and non-greasy. Anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe skin outbreaks, such as eczema patches and rashes. Smooth a small amount onto the skin and massage gently until absorbed. To lock in moisture, use after a shower or bath when skin is still slightly damp. Storage Cool & dark = longer shelf life. Warm & bright = shorter shelf life.  A natural preservative is used to protect our product against mold and bacteria.  It is still recommended that the whipped shea butter not be exposed to water, as it can cause the butter to spoil more quickly.  Shelf life is up to one year.

Optiphen Preservative:  Paraben- and formaldehyde-free Optiphen protects against mold and bacteria in lotion and scrub. It's a must-have for people who sell handmade bath and body products.
 

  How do I track my order?
Once your package ships, we’ll email you with tracking information 

• USPS normally takes 2-3 transit days, but may take up to 10. If your package goes missing, contact us at info@treasureinajar.com USPS Parcel Select Ground normally takes between 10-15 business days to deliver. If you are located in Alaska or Hawaii, delivery can take between 15-30 business days. If your package goes missing, please contact your local post office for assistance. 
• UPS 2-Day Air orders placed before noon PST will ship the same business day. Orders placed after noon will ship the following business day. UPS 2-Day Air doesn’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays, so an order placed after noon on Thursday will arrive Tuesday. If you need guaranteed delivery, this is your best option.
• UPS 3-Day Air orders placed before noon PST will ship the same business day. Orders placed after noon will ship the following business day. UPS 3-Day Air doesn’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays, so an order placed after noon on Thursday will arrive Wednesday. If you need guaranteed delivery, this is your best option.
• Ground shipping takes around 5 days to deliver in the US from our Bellingham, WA fulfillment center. It can be USPS, UPS, or FedEx at our discretion. Ground doesn’t guarantee any specific delivery time and it can take up to 10 days. Find a list of transit times below. Certain areas of your state may be more easily accessible, so you’ll see it more than once.

How long does it take for my order to ship?
